After having volunteered with Capturing Hopes for a year, I had a session with a baby who was to be taken off of life support the next day. It was then that it occurred to me that these photos would be the only way for the family to see and remember their baby. The baby's mother was overwhelmingly grateful to me, and it was clear that I needed to provide this service to other families as well.

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep does just that. The mission is to introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with a free gift of professional portraiture.

God has given me the opportunity to meet and pray for these families as well as the strength and talent to be able to provide this type of gift to families.

I became aware of the outstanding organization, Capturing Hopes, who provides free photography services to families who have a baby in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).  Because of my own experience with an infant in a NICU years ago, I was instantly drawn to learn more about the organization and have since been able to join the voluntary group of photographers who serve in Indianapolis area hospitals.

I've had the privilege of meeting some great families while documenting the growth and healing of their precious babies.  I would have loved to have been provided with a service like this when my child was in the hospital, so I'm delighted to be able to give it to others.

My husband is my best friend and most favorite person. He and I, together with our 3 boys enjoy just about anything that will get us outdoors, but our favorites include mountain biking, dirt biking, church softball, camping, fishing, and hiking. We enjoy Indiana's state parks and frequent our favorite, Brown County State Park, often.

I am privileged to get to stay home during the week with my 3-yr-old and nephew and be there for the older 2 when they get home.

I've recently taken up crocheting, so between that and my photography, I fill up my free time easily. I enjoy photographing our church family at church events, and I also volunteer in area hospitals photographing babies in the NICU. Sometimes I even bring some crochet goodies.

Portrait photographer serving families in the surrounding suburbs of Indianapolis including Westfield, Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, Sheridan, and Zionsville, along with the eastern and western suburbs. Most sessions take place outside at parks, gardens, or other public place, but client homes make a unique setting as well.

I am an on location family portrait photographer in Westfield, Indiana. I specialize in capturing life as it happens in each individuals lifestyle while mixing in posed family portraits. Customizing each session to provide clients with their own unique photos can best be acheived in the client's own environment, but local public areas work well also. I work hard to produce photos specific to each clients desires.
